Before joining the faculty at St. Francis College, Dr. Westcott worked as a software developer, systems analyst, quality analyst, systems tester and a project manager at AT&T for 17 years. During her telecommunications career, she managed numerous software development projects for marketing, sales, customer billing and decision support initiatives. Dr. Westcott also worked in the healthcare industry where she was an internal auditor for Beth Israel Hospital in New York.

She holds a Doctorate of Professional Studies in Computing from Pace University, a Master of Science in Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Pace University. Sandy also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Her research interests include project management, computer programming and stylometry.
