I completed my Undergraduate degree (B Ed. in Mathematics Education, 2004 ), and Master Degree (in mathematics Education, 2006) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, where I participated in several teaching practices in high school and college level’s and also wrote a Thesis titled “ A study on The Effectiveness Of Radio Teacher Training Program In Mathematics At Primary Level”, under supervision of Dr. Hari Prasad Upadhyay . After I received my Permanent High School Mathematics Teacher License in 2006, I taught Mathematics in high school from 2006 to 2008 in Nepal.

When I came to America, I joined City College of New York, CUNY where I received my second master degree in Mathematics in 2012. During my graduate study at City College, I developed an interest in Modern Algebra (Groups, Commutative Rings, Fields). Since I completed my master degree, I have been teaching several math courses (especially Calculus I, Calculus II and Calculus III) as an adjunct lecturer, Mathematics Department, City College. Also, I was an Adjunct Lecturer in Mathematics Department at Borough Of Manhattan College (CUNY) from 2013-2017. In 2013, I joined the Mathematics Department at St. Francis College as an Adjunct Lecturer and then became a full time faculty in Fall 2017. I am happy to have an opportunity of working at St. Francis College.
