Reminder: All students, faculty, and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and upload proof as a condition of accessing College buildings (including the residence hall) during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Your Next Steps!

Welcome Future Terriers and congratulations on your acceptance to St. Francis College! Our Admissions Team is here to guide you every step of the way as you begin your SFC journey.

First Year

  1. File your FAFSA, TAP Application: Only NY State residents can file for TAP. We strongly encourage students to file for FAFSA as soon as possible. After completion, you will receive an email with your official SFC username and password. Please contact the admissions office if you do not plan to file FAFSA to receive your login.
  2. Review your Financial Aid Award through the Self-Service Portal: Students will need their SFC username and password to review their financial aid offer letter.
  3. Make your deposit today!
  4. Submit Official Documentation: Complete and return your immunization form and submit your official transcripts. All official documentation can be sent to [email protected]. All students must submit their official documentation by Monday, January 10th.
  5. Submit the SFC COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination Form to confirm vaccination status or to request an exemption. All students are required to be fully vaccinated or obtain an exemption approval (and then follow exempt status protocols) to enter campus. Read the College's COVID-19 Vaccine Policy for Students.
  6. Skills Assessment: All committed students are required to take a math and writing skills assessment through Canvas which can be accessed through the MYSFC landing page. Once you are in Canvas, click on AEC1000 page and begin. These scores will help your Center for Student Success advisor determine your placement in your college courses.
  7. Course Questionnaire: After submission of your Skills Assessment please complete the Course Questionnaire within the AEC1000 page. This questionnaire will help guide our academic advisors as they create your fall schedule.
  8. Download the Navigate Student App: SFC uses the Navigate student app to schedule appointments with advisors, tutors and all key student support offices, never miss important events or deadlines with the TO-DO feature, easily see your course schedule, find study buddies in your classes, take a major explorer and more!
  9. Using the Navigate app, schedule a New Student Registration Appointment with an advisor in the Center for Student Success. Check back for registration dates!
  10. Participate in our live and virtual orientation sessions. Check back for our scheduled orientation dates!
  11. Sign up for the Class of 2025 Facebook Group
