Welcome, Future Terriers and congratulations on your acceptance to St. Francis College!

It's time for you to begin your Terrier Success Path. Below are the next steps you need to take to get one step closer to becoming an official SFC Terrier.

Spring 2024: First-Year Student

  1. File your FAFSA, TAP Application: Only NY State residents can file for TAP. We strongly encourage all applicants to file for FAFSA as soon as possible. Even if you are not eligible for government aid, FAFSA can provide SFC Need-Based Aid. School Codes:
    1. FAFSA: 0020820
    2. TAP: 0715
  2. Claim your SFC username and password: once you have filed for Financial Aid all applicants will receive an email with your official St. Francis College login. This will allow you to review your financial aid award, complete your deposit, and once committed to SFC access your email and all SFC systems.
  3. Review your Financial Aid Award through the Self-Service Portal: Access your award letter through the self-service portal to review scholarships and aid. SFC username and password is needed to access your award letter.
  4. Visit Campus: The best way to get familiar with the Terrier community is by visiting our state-of-the-art campus at 179 Livingston Street. Sign up today for a campus tour, visit with an admissions counselor, or attend one of our upcoming events.
  5. Make your deposit today!
  6. Start your Terrier Success Track: Once you have made your commitment to SFC you will exit the Terrie Success Path and officially being your Terrier Success Track. This track will provide you with your enrolled student checklist and align it with key dates and deadlines to ensure you are set up for success for the future. Steps on your success track will include: completion of skills assessment, registration, orientation, accessing SFC technology and more!

Save the date: Spring New Student Orientation will be Thursday, January 11th and Friday, January 12th (both dates required).

  6. Submit Documentation for Credit Evaluation: We know that bringing over your previously earned credits is a top priority. To get your credit evaluation started, it is important that we have transcripts on file from every institution you have attended. Click here if you need guidance on how to get transcripts from your previous institutions.
