Join a discussion focusing on Chinese American immigrant adolescents and young adults living in New York City. Based on essays written by 82 female and male high school, college, and university students, the presentation includes immigration and acculturation experiences, economic difficulties, family relationships, gender roles, body images, striving for academic success, and experiencing racial-ethnic discrimination.
