Franciscan Month: Mindfulness Minutes
October 3, 2023
All Day Event
St. Francis College
179 Livingston Street
Take a few minutes out of your day for mindfulness — “paying attention to the present moment, without judgment.”
Professor Jim Freeman will present short video recordings explaining what is mindfulness and how it connects with our Franciscan values, as well as guide us through a few stretching, breathing and meditative exercises that anyone can do to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and energy, and stay connected to the world around us. The series will conclude with a brief mindfulness gathering in the Multipurpose Room at 5 p.m.
All are invited!
