SFC Radio Ribbon Cutting

October 20, 2022
1 P.M. - 2 P.M.
St. Francis College
179 Livingston (6th Floor Radio Booth)

SFC Radio is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new home at 179 Livingston. The two-room studio is equipped with industry-standard software and hardware. SFC Radio is thrilled to have Bomani Jones and Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay as special guests for this momentous event.

Jones is one of the sharpest and most influential voices in sports media with a diverse collection of work across all popular media. Lindsay is an accomplished media executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of MediaCo Holding, owner of HOT 97, WBLS and Fairway Outdoor.

Students are encouraged to host radio shows/podcasts in the new studio and the SFC community is also encouraged to participate in shows at the station.

SFC Radio programming is live-streamed on the station's website (http://sfc.radio/) and accessed on apps and websites, including TuneIn, RadioFX (the official app for college radio), Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and SoundCloud.

In 2016, SFC Radio, the College's first completely student-run radio station, was established by a small group of committed freshmen under the leadership of Brian C. Gregory, Ed.D., Assistant Professor of Communication Arts and Brother Gregory Cellini, O.S.F., Executive Director of Mission, Ministry and Interfaith Dialogue.

Refreshments and food will be served at the event.
