St. Francis College is thrilled to announce that its Nursing Program has been awarded the maximum 10-year accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) —a prestigious milestone that affirms the College’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, student success, and high-impact, values-driven professional education.

The CCNE’s decision came after a rigorous evaluation process that included a comprehensive self-study, on-site review, and in-depth analysis of the program’s curriculum, outcomes, and institutional support. The result: a full decade of accreditation—the highest term possible—recognizing the strength and future of SFC’s Nursing Program.

“This achievement is the result of extraordinary collaboration, deep commitment to our students, and an unrelenting focus on excellence in nursing education,” said Dr. Mary Kate Kasler, Chair of the Nursing Department. “Our faculty and students embody what it means to care with both skill and heart—and this recognition affirms the strength and future of our program.”

SFC President Tim Cecere called the accreditation “a gold standard” and “a powerful affirmation of the dedication of our faculty, the academic rigor of our curriculum, and the dreams of our incredible students.”
