SFC Women's Leadership Network
A year ago, four St. Francis alumnae came to the College for a one-time talk to current female students about the perils, pitfalls of the workplace as well as tips on how to succeed in their chosen careers.
But they decided one-time was not enough.
Elizabeth Mindlin '81, Judy A. Rice '79, Dyanne Marie Rosado '95 and Honorary Degree recipient Saundra Thomas '10 worked together with the Office of Development to create the Women's Leadership Network at St. Francis College.
The group held it's opening event on March 30, 2017 at WABC-TV, hosted by Ms. Thomas who is Vice-President of Community Affairs at the station.
More than 50 alumnae and current students came together to meet and build the foundation for new relationships.
For more information on how to join the Women's Leadership Network, please contact Katherine O'Hagan, Associate Director in the Office of Development at [email protected].
The Women's Leadership Network ("WLN") supports and encourages the development of leadership skills in our students and young alumnae by providing opportunities to collaborate with each other and to network with more experienced career women who support St. Francis College. This network will be used to empower our students, reconnect with our alumnae and network with new friends while growing the SFC community through professional, educational and social events.
