My favorite moment at St. Francis College was on June 18, 2013. That was the day I met my wife. We met at freshman orientation in the Genovesi Center and, from that day on, were inseparable. We got married at the Shrine Church of St. Bernadette in September of 2021, with a reception at Russo’s on the Bay. We’re homeowners now, living in New Jersey, and will never forget the wonderful college experience we had at Remsen Street. I’m sad that 180 Remsen will no longer be associated with the College. I often dreamed of revisiting the College in the years to come; however, I’m happy for the incoming students at SFC. They will have a state-of-the-art facility and get the same Franciscan experience that my wife and I got, and that they will remember for a lifetime.
