Romario Thomas '20

Romario Thomas is a native of Jamaica. He migrated in 2016 after accepting a track and field scholarship to study in the United States at Northern State University. He Transferred as a Junior to SFC in 2018.

While attending St. Francis College, he was a student athlete and was involved in a variety of student leadership roles, and was a recipient of the Catalyst Foundation Scholarship. He was also awarded an internship with Harvard Stem Cell Institute in 2018 and worked in orthopedic research at Boston’s Children’s Hospital. He graduated from SFC with a BSc. in Biology in 2020 and then moved on to work in cardiovascular research as a Research Technician at Duke University.

Romario is currently working in neuroscientific research at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai as a Research Associate.
