Remembering Remsen Story

Thomas Meyers ’04

Turning up the block from the N train station and seeing the big banners waving in the wind always brought a sense of calm to me. Passing the gold-trimmed doors of the old entrance and walking up the steps, the smell of the pool hit you as you entered and were greeted by familiar faces. And who could forget the smell of the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies baking in the old cafeteria? I have the pleasure of taking CITE classes at SFC on Sundays, so I still get to witness the school in its glory. What a remarkable place — my school, my home and my place of employment for a total of eight years! Once a Terrier, always a Terrier!
