Tri-Beta's rich history, dating back to its founding in 1922, has seen over 300,000 students inducted into the society.

Why should you join Tri-Beta?

Joining TriBeta connects you with a network of fellow biology students and leaders, enabling you to maximize your potential and expand the boundaries of your research. Membership offers numerous advantages, including access to research and travel grants, opportunities to present your research at district, regional, and national conventions, the potential for publication, and the possibility of receiving awards. You can become an individual member of TriBeta through a chapter at a four-year accredited college or university or via a club at a two-year institution, with over 650 chapters providing enriching experiences that complement your biology education without replicating core major requirements.

Requirements

  • Biology, Health Promotion and Science, Health Care Management, or Nursing major
  • Completed at least 3 biology courses (of which at least one is not an introductory course, such as Human Biology or Ecology and the Environment)
  • Grade of B or above in three Biology courses
  • Overall 3.0 GPA minimum
  • The names and contact information of the two references

Regular Membership Fees: $55 cash (strongly preferred) or PayPal (if you choose this option, Dr. Kita will send the instructions)
