Dr. Hofer is an assistant professor in political science and serves as the pre-law advisor at St. Francis College. Prior to joining the College, he gained firsthand experience working for political campaigns and the government. Professor Hofer has previously taught at the University of Houston. He teaches various courses in American politics, judicial process, and constitutional law. His broad research agenda includes works on representation in the judiciary, education policy, inequality, and political philosophy. His original research has been published in American Politics Research and Open Judicial Politics.
