Available now online, the Post-Baccalaureate in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) provides an opportunity for students who have earned a discipline-based bachelor's degree to complete the professional preparation requirements necessary to become a New York State certified teacher.

This one-year full-time, or part-time equivalent, program will prepare you with the knowledge and skills to become an effective teacher and culminates in a supervised teaching practicum in a NYC partner school to gain practical, hands-on experience with a diverse student population. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with mentor teachers, staff, and administrators, as well as gain other professional knowledge in support of learner success.

The 33-credit hour Master of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Science program is designed to enhance and broaden students’ knowledge and skills for exercise and sport science-related specialties and professions.

With concentrations in Strength and Conditioning, Sports Psychology, High-Performance Coaching, and Generalist, the program prepares students to take a holistic (theoretical and practical) approach to improve sports and exercise performance and use physical activity to prevent and treat chronic disease.
