St. Francis College is now enrolling students in its first fully online degree program, marking another step in the College's years-long strategy to integrate state-of-the-art online learning in its curriculum.A Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science is the inaugural program St. Francis College Online, a new online learning destination that will allow students to earn SFC degrees remotely in a range of emerging fields with strong job prospects

In order to continue to safeguard the health and well-being of our SFC community, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the planned in-person Commencement in August.

"The SFC Committee for Reopening is methodically and thoughtfully working out the details of a phased return-to-campus plan we're calling Back To Brooklyn.We aim to have our Back To Brooklyn plan complete by July 30th. Prior to then, we'll unveil a new Back To Brooklyn web page that will include key decisions made to date, some of which – such as about fall 2020 course instruction - we've already communicated in messages that you can read in the "Latest Updates" section of our COVID-19 information web page."

St. Francis College continues to train its faculty on advanced skills to educate students online, thanks to an innovative certification program the College launched last year.

The SFC Committee for Reopening continues to plan thoughtfully for this fall. As I've shared previously, the College is taking many measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 and implement health and safety protocols to allow for a phased reopening on campus for the fall 2020 semester. I want to bring you up to speed on where things stand today.

The New York State Department of Education selected St. Francis College to launch and run a Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) that will prepare students from under-represented populations for careers in medicine, health and other fields that require professional licenses.
