St. Francis College will kick off the 2021-22 academic year with a convocation ceremony and block party that welcomes new and returning students to a campus that is largely open for in-person activities again.

In its study released today, U.S. News ranked SFC 15th out of 57 institutions in the category of Northern Regional Colleges, based on its performance on 17 indicators of academic quality as compared to other colleges in its geographic area with similar academic missions.

Williams will be honored in a ceremony prior to the Terriers' game with Sacred Heart on Saturday, February 5 at 4 p.m.

An author and "unintentional" entrepreneur, Kristen launched Student Maid, a cleaning company that employs primarily students, while attending college in 2007.

The Staples Foundation is supporting St. Francis College and its goal of encouraging education and careers in science with a grant for $15,000 to support the College's Summer Science Academy.

After a rally and visit from a World Champion Water Polo coach, the St. Francis College Men's Water Polo team is off to Berkeley, California for its semi-final match Saturday, December 4 at 4:00pm (EST) against the defending champion, the University of Southern California. Brooklyn Heights, NY - - - With players and new recruits getting ready to begin their 2009 campaign, St. Francis College Men's Water Polo's New Head Coach Igor Samardzija was formally introduced today by St. Francis Director of Athletics Irma Garcia. Samardzija has been working hard the past several months, recruiting and putting together a schedule for the squad that includes two trips to the West Coast to face the nation's top Division I College teams.

On Giving Tuesday, St. Francis College alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends are asked to donate to SFC's Fund for St. Francis – the College's annual fundraising campaign -- and to spread the word for others to do the same. This year's initiative, the College's 5th year participating, is supported by an anonymous matching-dollar commitment up to $50,000.

Drawing upon its Franciscan traditions of service and kindness, St. Francis College is once again taking part in Giving Tuesday, inviting the Terrier family to give of themselves and support one another on December 1st.

St. Francis College students will return to campus on September 9th, as the College kicks off its academic year under its new fall 2020 plan – dubbed Back to Brooklyn – that prioritizes delivering a stellar academic experience while mitigating risk of COVID-19 transmission.
