Meet the $50,000 Literary Prize Finalists
For the first time, St. Francis College is bringing together all the authors from the short list for its $50,000 Literary Prize. The five authors will be part of a panel at the 2013 Brooklyn Book Festival on Sunday, September 22 at 10 am in the College's Founders Hall.

SFC Announces Short List for $50,000 Literary Prize
Jurors for the $50,000 St. Francis College Literary Prize have narrowed the more than 170 submissions down to a short list of five novels competing for the biannual award, one of the richest in the United States.

Abc Down Under Spotlights Women's Basketball
When Jessica Kaufman and Eilidh Simpson, two Juniors on the Women's Basketball, went home for the summer, they traveled a little bit further than many of the students at St. Francis. These two went half way around the world to Melbourne, Australia, taking two of their teammates, Katie Fox and Sarah Benedetti with them.

SFC Students Curate Exhibit at Historical Society
Eleven students, including six from St. Francis College, presented their summer research projects and unveiled a new exhibit they curated at the Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS) on July 11. The night was also a way to thank the JPMorgan Chase Foundation for supporting the intensive five-week program entitled Students and Faculty in the Archives (SAFA) which teaches the important skill of working with original research materials.

For the sixth year in a row Forbes.com has selected St. Francis College for its America's Top Colleges list while bestcolleges.com classified St. Francis as one of its Best Catholic Colleges.

SFC Women's Basketball Gpa Second in Nation
The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers are tied with DePaul University for the second-highest Division I team GPA in the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2012-13 season, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced today. The Terriers are the only New York Metropolitan area squad to earn the honor.

Puzzles of Faith and Patterns of Doubt (Editions Bibliotekos), a new anthology edited by St. Francis College English Professor Gregory F. Tague, offers a collection of 15 poems and short stories that explore the role of faith in personal challenges, triumphs and failures.
