With rising COVID rates in NYC and more stringent state and city rules now in place, the St. Francis College Back to Brooklyn taskforce and College leadership has decided that it is in the best interest of our students, faculty and staff to suspend in-person course instruction on SFC's campus after Thanksgiving weekend.

Dozens of St. Francis College freshmen are completing their first-semester courses from their homes around the globe, thanks to the novel Learning Communities program the College introduced this year.

The health and well-being of our community remains a top priority as we continue to contend with the ongoing COVID pandemic.Most spring 2021 courses will be taught online only, with no in-person instruction. Students will use Canvas and other online platforms in their courses, and all professors will hold online office hours, during which time students can interact with them live.

St. Francis College is pleased to welcome National Urban League President and CEO Marc Morial on November 2nd, as this year's guest for the annual Dr. Frank Greene Lecture.

A testament to its recruitment efforts and student-first academic focus, St. Francis College welcomed its largest, most diverse freshmen class in its history this fall, bucking national trends that saw steep declines in enrollment of first-year college students.

St. Francis College will celebrate the hundreds of transfer students among its student body, as it hosts a series of events in honor of this year's annual National Transfer Student Week from October 19th to 23rd.
