From 130 to six, the short list is out for the $50,000 St. Francis College Literary Prize, one of the richest literary awards in the United States. With a grade of A- from Money Magazine, St. Francis College was again recognized on the magazines Best College's List. The recognition comes in the same week that St. Francis was selected as one of America's Top Colleges by Forbes, the eighth year in a row the College has made that list.

St. Francis College welcomed acclaimed author Franciscan Priest and Poet Murray Bodo to read poems inspired by St. Francis & St. Clare on June 24, 2015.

Gray skies turned to a bright, sunny day at Brooklyn Bridge Park for the three thousand people celebrating St. Francis College's Spring Commencement on May 19; the first graduation held on the pier with the Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan skyline providing a stunning backdrop for the graduates.
