As part of St. Clare and St. Francis Week, St. Francis College welcomes scholar Paul Moses the the College October 2 to talk about his book, The Saint and the Sultan: The Crusades, Islam, and Francis of Assisi's Mission of Peace.

The Senior Citizens Lecture Series brings together current St. Francis College students with senior citizens from the Brooklyn community for an exchange of opinions and viewpoints about hot-button issues of the day.

Iraqi Judge Raid Juhi Al-Saedi says his role in presiding over the investigation of former Iraqi Dictator Saddam Hussein for war crimes was more important than concerns for his own life. "We need to teach our society how to respect the rule of law in Iraq," Juhi told a packed theater Thursday, April 10 in a talk sponsored by the St. Francis College Department of International Culture Studies.

Jamel Brinkley, acclaimed writer and SFC lecturer, is named a Finalist for 2018 National Book Awards in Fiction for his debut collection of short stories titled "A Lucky Man."
