Music, Dancing and Fun on the Last Day of Classes
As students were finishing their course work on the last day of the spring semester at St. Francis College, the Student Government Association (SGA) was hosting its last event of the year, Student Appreciation Day. This new event was held by the SGA to celebrate the student body and join them in their excitement as another school year came to a close.

Ranking the New Global Players
St. Francis Professor and Management Department Chairman John Dilyard for the past year has been at the center of a major new initiative sponsored by the Columbia Program on International Investment that will identify and rank the largest globally-active multinational corporations from emerging markets (MNEs). For the first time, businessmen, investors and scholars will know the names of hundreds of companies across all industries that are competing worldwide, even against the largest companies in the United States, Europe and Japan.

40th Anniversary of Cooper v Power
"When [Andrew W. Cooper] filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court, he was well aware that he was launching a missile at the powerful political forces in the city and the state, Republican and Democratic," said Basil Paterson, the keynote speaker at the 40th Anniversary celebration of Cooper v Power, speaking about the lawsuit that led to the creation of a predominantly African-American congressional seat in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Center of Excellence, Pmi Partner for Philadelphia Colloquium
"How we educate future project managers and how we conduct our research into best practices needs to be grounded in reality," said Dr. Barbara Edington, Director of the Center of Excellence in Project Management, which helped plan the colloquium along with the Project Management Institute, the leading membership association for project managers.

In July of this year, PMI's Research and Education Conference was held in Limerick, Ireland where both academics and practitioners assembled to hear about the recent research and current trends in the industry. Dr. Barbara Edington was a collaborator on a paper with lead author Dr. Thomas Lechler entitled, "Exploring Contextual Conditions of Project Uncertainties and Project Value Opportunities.
