Record Fundraising Effort Raises $250,000 at Annual St. Francis Golf Outing
A beautiful day on the links led to a record setting night at the 11th Annual St. Francis College Meadow Brook Golf Outing August 2, as supporters helped raise more than $250,000 through the sale of golf and clinic tickets as well as auction items, a beat-the-student golfer contest and putting contest.

St. Francis College Professor Kathryn Grant will see her latest play, The Good Counselor, in lights this week at Premiere Stages at Kean University premiering on July 15 and running through August 1.

Executive Vice President Stephen Bogart to Retire
From the 'Punching Padre' in Seminary School to serving his country as a United States Marine to Executive Vice President of St. Francis College, Stephen Bogart's life has taken numerous, interesting twists and turns. Now after 14 years at the College, Mr. Bogart has announced his retirement at the end of June, 2010.

Four St. Francis College Terriers topped the Northeast Conference (NEC) Commissioner's Honor Roll with another 28 named to the conferences Spring Academic Honor Roll.

More than 150 St. Francis College alumni, staff and friends went out to the ballgame in Coney Island Tuesday, June 22 to root for the home team Brooklyn Cyclones and support scholarships at St. Francis College.

St. Francis Professor Gregory F. Tague Finds "Common Boundary: Stories of Immigration"
Immigration, at its core, is a story of becoming. "Common Boundary: Stories of Immigration," the new collection of 29 works of prose and poetry edited by St. Francis College English Professor Gregory F. Tague, explores this theme of immigration, including international adoption, with stories full of candor, humor and insight.

St. Francis Professor Nominated for Daytime Emmy
The fights and falls on daytime Television add spice to our favorite soap operas and for Jake Turner, a professor at St. Francis College, it may also add an Emmy Award after being nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Stunt Coordination category.

An Early Look at College for Brooklyn Grade Schoolers From Ps 133
More than 300 students from PS 133 in Brooklyn came to St. Francis College June 4 to get a look at what their future could hold. The trip, made up of kindergarten through 4th graders, is part of an ongoing collaboration between St. Francis and PS 133.

Relay for Life Takes in $12,000 to Fight Cancer
More than 35 teams and 250 people helped raise $12,000 for the American Cancer Society in St. Francis College's 5th Annual Relay For Life on March 26 at the College's Peter Aquilone Court.

St. Francis Alumnus Jim Brochu Wins Drama Desk Award
St. Francis College Alumnus and former member of the College's Troupers acting club, Jim Brochu '69 took home the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for his portrayal of Zero Mostel in Zero Hour Monday night, May 24.
