Third Annual White Coat Ceremony Honors Future Nurses
Continuing a new tradition at St. Francis College, more than 60 future nurses, the largest class ever at the College, were welcomed into the four-year Nursing BSN program at the Third Annual Nursing White Coat Ceremony with a Keynote Address by State Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon on Friday, February 3.

SFC Statement on Immigration and Refugee Executive Order
St. Francis College was founded in 1859 by Franciscan Brothers from Ireland to educate Irish immigrants and help them assimilate and succeed in New York City. The demographics of Brooklyn have changed over the years, but the mission has not. St. Francis still proudly educates immigrants, now from dozens of countries around the world, many the first in their family to attend college.
