Peniel E. Joseph, a Professor of History at Tufts University, a pioneering historian in the field of Black Power Studies, and an award-winning author came to St. Francis College February 11, 2015 to talk about his book, Stokely: A Life, a book about Stokely Carmichael, a leader of the Pan-African movement.

A Firsthand Look at the Brooklyn Congress of Racial Equality
Lawrence Cumberbatch, a Brooklyn resident who was a member of the Brooklyn Congress of Racial Equality, came to St. Francis College on February 10, 2015 to offer a firsthand account of CORE. The Brooklyn chapter of CORE was known for its theatrical, uncompromising protests against housing discrimination, poor neighborhood conditions, employment discrimination, and discrimination in education.

St. Francis College alumnus Robert Rahn '76 and his partner, Kim Anklin, came to St. Francis College October 28, 2014 to discuss how their private investigation helped free a wrongfully imprisoned man, Jonathan Fleming.

SFC Readies for Winter Commencement
St. Francis College is pleased to host the 2015 Winter Commencement for College graduates from the past summer and fall semesters at St. Charles Borromeo Church on Wednesday January 14, beginning with a Baccalaureate Mass at 2:00pm, followed by the Winter Commencement Ceremony at 3:00pm.
