Three New Promotions at St. Francis College for Allen Burdowski, Richie Coladarci and John Ragno
An emphasis behind the creation of new opportunities for students, faculty and administrators stands as a core reason for three new promotions at St. Francis College this summer. Dr. Allen Burdowski is now the new Dean of Academic Program Development, Richie Coladarci now serves as Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Development and John Ragno is the College's new Assistant Vice President for Finance.

David Vann Wins the $50,000 St. Francis College Literary Prize for His Novel, Dirt
David Vann's novel, Dirt, beat out more than 170 other books to capture the $50,000 St. Francis College Literary Prize, one of the richest prizes in the United State. Vann's selection was announced Saturday, September 21 at the opening night gala for the Brooklyn Book Festival which was held at St. Francis College.

Golfers Raise $125,000+ for St. Francis College Scholarships at Annual Meadow Brook Club Golf Outing
More than 130 golfers of all skills helped raise nearly $126,000 for St. Francis College Scholarships at the 11th Annual Meadow Brook Club Golf Outing on August 3. For the second year, in addition to the more than 30 foursomes who played in the tournament, a number of alumni and friends were able to spend the afternoon at a golf clinic learning the arts of driving, pitching and putting in a highly enjoyable format from PGA professional, Jamie Kilmer and Meadow Brook Club staff.
